WTO Proves Fears on Trade Deals

It has been reported that trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) would undermine U.S. health and safety regulation. The World Trade Organization (WTO) has just proven them right. The WTO just ruled that America’s Country Of Origin Labeling regulation, which requires meat producers to indicate what nation packaged meat comes from, violates global trade standards. The ruling cannot be appealed.
