Apple spreads Force Touch trackpad to 15-in. MacBook Pro
Apple today refreshed the 15-in. MacBook Pro, adding its new Force Touch trackpad to the laptop to match the move made in March on the smaller 13-in. model. Prices for the 15-in. MacBook Pro remained unchanged: $1,999 for the configuration with a 2.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor and 256GB of flash storage; $2,499 for the notebook powered by a quad-core 2.5GHz Core i7 and 512GB of storage space on the SSD (solid-state drive). Dell aims new printers at the cloud
Dell is taking its printers to the cloud as people increasingly use smartphones and tablets to access remote documents.The company says that it is readying new printers and related software tools designed to make printing documents from PCs, mobile devices and virtual desktops easy and secure.The new printers include the US$329 E525W color multifunction printer and three monochrome printers starting at $179. They’re targeted at consumers and small businesses, and will be released later this month.
