Last week Microsoft released their Security Bulletins for the month of October. There were a total of 9, 3 of which were critical, and exploit code has already been created for a few of them. Make sure you are on top of getting the necessary patches applied on your systems. I also posted a review of GFI's LANguard Network Security Scanner and a blurb regarding the need for solid disaster recovery planning in the wake of natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and the recent earthquake in Pakistan.
