Joe -- Last night, 31 senators led an overnight session for one reason: to urge Congress to wake up and do something about climate change. It was a marathon of powerful speeches that ran all the way till morning. We think that's awesome. When as many as 139 members of Congress publicly deny the science behind climate change, it's good to be reminded that there are true leaders in Washington working hard alongside us. If you think these senators deserve a hand, check out this graphic and share it with friends to shine a light on their leadership: The better we do our jobs to call out denial and talk about the scientific consensus on climate change, the harder it's going to be for those 139 members of Congress to be taken seriously on it. And those senators who took a stand last night are leading the charge. Let's thank them -- share this graphic on Facebook: http://my.barackobama.com/Thank-Climate-Senate-Leaders-FB Or share it on Twitter: http://my.barackobama.com/Thank-Climate-Senate-Leaders-TW Thanks, Ivan Ivan Frishberg Climate Change Campaign Manager Organizing for Action | |
