Show some love to the OFA Dream Team

Organizing for Action
Joe --

You should know about something that's going on in 34 congressional districts across the country.

The fight to pass comprehensive immigration reform has come down to a few dozen key members of the House who are in a position to be a leader. OFA supporters in these congressional districts are playing an important role in getting reform across the finish line -- we're calling it the OFA Dream Team.

Even if you don't live near one of these districts, we're asking folks to show solidarity with the volunteers who are dedicated to making immigration reform a reality.

Show your support for the Dream Team by spreading the word about this work on Facebook or Twitter.

Dream Team members have organized nearly 200 events since the launch of the program on February 15th, including phone banks, canvasses and rallies, and even marching the contact information of a member of Congress down the street on a barn sign. And they are continually coming up with even more creative ways to make sure their members of Congress know the true cost of inaction on this issue.

The volunteers on the ground have been crushing it, and part of what keeps them motivated is knowing that what they are doing is reaching beyond just their district. In the end, we need what's happening on the ground -- all their hard work and support from folks like you -- to make it up to Speaker Boehner's desk. Showing these volunteers a little love on social media will let them know that their message is coming through loud and clear.

So, if fixing our broken immigration system is important to you, I hope you'll show your support for these volunteers.

Cheer on the OFA Dream Team today on Facebook:
