Joe -- Today, streets in New York City and around the world are filled with people calling for action on climate change. Even if you can't be there to be part of the march, you can still join in. Supporters across the country and around the world are sharing notes of solidarity to voice our support for climate action, using the hashtag #WalkTheWalk. Here's one way to jump right in -- share this graphic now: Earlier this year, President Obama laid out his plan, which the New York Times called "the strongest action ever taken by an American president to tackle climate change" -- and in a few days, he'll address this issue on the world stage at the United Nations. That's leadership we need, but make no mistake: There are a LOT of people on the other side who are going to do everything they can to stop the President's plan. This is going to be a fight, and it's going to take all of us who care about combating climate change -- from supporters like you to world leaders. Take a moment to tell your friends that you support aggressive action on climate change -- share this graphic on Facebook: http://my.barackobama.com/Walk-the-Walk-FB Or on Twitter: http://my.barackobama.com/Walk-the-Walk-TW Thanks, Jack Jack Shapiro National Issues Campaign Manager Organizing for Action | |
