Joe -- What do you do when Congress goes home without getting the job done? You don't stop fighting. The same issues that fired us all up yesterday still matter today. If people like us don't keep these conversations going, no one will. That's why OFA supporters across the country are making a simple commitment: Say you'll do your part this fall to keep talking about the issues that matter most. There's just too much at stake to let the organizing you've done take a back seat, just because Congress isn't in Washington. You know what I mean: We have to raise the minimum wage so that Americans who work full time don't have to raise their families in poverty. We have to continue our work to make college more affordable. Congress can do more to ensure women receive equal pay for equal work, and finally fix our broken immigration system. And climate change is happening right now -- we've got to take action. No matter what you're passionate about, all we're asking is that you keep talking about it -- because these issues aren't going away. And it's up to each of us to make sure leaders in Washington know we aren't either. That might seem like a small thing to do, but when real conversations are happening in communities across the country, you're not just raising awareness -- you're building momentum. We're counting on you, Joe.
