What America Thinks: Does Your Vote Really Count?

Most voters are heading to the polls today, but does it matter? We decided to find out what America thinks. Just 40% of Likely Voters think U.S. elections are fair to voters. Only 13% think most members of Congress get reelected because they do a good job representing their constituents. Sixty-two percent (62%) believe instead that most incumbents get reelected because election rules are rigged to their benefit.
