Today in Strangeness:
It was on this day in 1964 that the TV show Twilight Zone aired its final episode on CBS after a five-year run. The iconic series, hosted by Rod Serling (who wrote 92 of its episodes) was known for using sci-fi to relay strong social commentary. TZ had a healthy afterlife in syndication, and spawned two TV remakes, and a feature film-- not to mention serving as the inspiration for our newsletter name, CoastZone!
