On this date in 1897, pioneering pilot Amelia Earhart was born. The aviatrix gained worldwide acclaim in 1932, when she became the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Of course, it was her mysterious disappearance in 1937, during an attempted solo flight around the world, which resulted in her having a place in esoteric lore. Friday, July 24, 2015: Filling in for George, in the first half Dave Schrader ( email) welcomes Brent Swancer, freelance writer and crypto expert, who'll discuss such topics as Bigfoot, haunted WWII tunnels, and a special rehabilitation center than opened in 1911 which has been rattled with mysterious happenings since its inception. 6-10pm PT: Art Bell - Somewhere in Time returns to 5/20/96 for a night of Open Lines with an emphasis on Russian turmoil, and heated debates about race relations in the US. Sunday, July 26, 2015: In the first half, George Knapp hosts nuclear power expert Arnie Gundersen, who'll discuss how more than four years after the triple meltdown at Fukushima, nuclear waste inside the reactors, including plutonium, continues to bleed into the Pacific Ocean creating low concentrations of radioactivity that have already migrated across the Pacific to the West Coast of North America (related article). Steven Starr of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation joins the conversation.
2nd Half: Energy law attorney, clean tech energy expert, and immediate past Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Jon Wellinghoff, addresses the attempt by power companies to crush rooftop solar energy by throwing up roadblocks to make it harder for homeowners to install, and how electric companies hate the idea of clean, plentiful solar taking away their business. Monday, July 27, 2015: Kevin D. Randle is a retired US Army lieutenant colonel who toured in both Vietnam and Iraq. He has a master's degree and Ph.D. in psychology and a second master's degree in the art of military science. He'll discuss his involvement in what began as an investigation into a woman's alien abduction, but evolved into her past life regression, in which she learned she'd had a string of lives as a serial killer. Tuesday, July 28, 2015: Professor of theoretical physics at University of Connecticut, Ronald Mallett's breakthrough research on time travel has been featured extensively in the media around the world, including the History, Learning and Science channels. He'll give an update on the Higgs Boson particle, as well as the latest in his work on time travel and the centennial celebration of Einstein's general theory of relativity. Wednesday, July 29, 2015: First Half: Electronics engineer and friend of the late Eugene Mallove, Bill "Doc" Harrington will discuss the process of cold fusion and why it's threatening to the powers that be, as well as the people who are doing the research. A student of world events, he contends that major events such as the disappearance of Flight 370 and 9-11 are engineered to create movement in the financial markets.
2nd Half: Known as the "Garden Witch" Ellen Dugan is an author, psychic-clairvoyant, and has been a practicing witch for over thirty years. She is a master gardener, and is also the High Priestess of her coven in the St. Louis area. She'll reveal practical applications of witchery, psychic protection, and Magick, as well has her latest work helping people develop their natural psychic abilities. Thursday, July 30, 2015: Earthfiles investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe will discuss the main reason why President John F.
