UFO Disclosure:

In the first half of Thursday's show, disclosure activist Stephen Bassett talked about the importance of UFO nuclear tampering evidence, the implications of Edgar Mitchell's recent comments about UFOs, and the current political landscape for disclosure. In the first Disclosure Hearings held in 2001, Capt. Robert Salas testified how nuclear warheads were shut down when UFOs hovered over Malmstrom AFB. In all this time, the US government has never addressed this nuclear evidence, because they don't want to acknowledge the ET issue, Bassett remarked. Mitchell, an Apollo 14 astronaut, has lately been speaking out about how top-ranking military sources observed UFOs during weapons testing.

Bassett foresees the "truth embargo" ending before the next US president is in office in January of 2016. Hillary Clinton and her top advisor John Podesta may directly engage the Rockefeller Initiative before the first primaries, because the media is so interested in the UFO topic, he suggested. While he believes Obama will be the first disclosure president, the candidate elected in 2016 will have the best chance in shaping American policy on the ET question in the post-disclosure world, he said.

H.H. Holmes, Serial Killer:

In the latter half, author and former California trial lawyer Jeff Mudgett discussed his great-great-grandfather, H.H. Holmes, who was arguably one of the most prolific serial killers in America. Trained as a doctor, Holmes was a brilliant psychopath, who set up an elaborate "Murder Castle" in Chicago, with the ability to gas victims in different rooms before sending them down a chute to his basement, which was a kind of house of horrors. He found numerous female victims, who were typically visiting from out of town, during the Chicago World's Fair of 1893. Subsequent to his trial (which Mudgett called the OJ Simpson trial of its day), Holmes admitted killing 27 innocent victims, though the evidence indicates that number was actually far higher.

After he was executed, a 'Holmes curse' was said to exist, in which a number of people associated with his trial, arrest, or execution either died, or suffered terrible misfortune or luck. This led Mudgett to suspect that Holmes may have paid off the warden to have someone else executed instead of him, as the body was immediately placed into cement, without being examined. He believes that if Holmes escaped, he may have wreaked revenge on these various people. Mudgett hopes to have his ancestor's body exhumed to prove it's not him. Interestingly, before his arrest, Holmes traveled to London, and Mudgett is convinced that he committed one of the Jack the Ripper murders-- that of Catherine Eddowes, who was killed in 1888. A movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Holmes, Devil in the White City, may soon be greenlighted.
Today in Strangeness:

On August 21, 1879, apparitions of the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and St. John were said to be witnessed by 15 people at the Knock Parish Church in Ireland. And on this day in 1989, the space probe Voyager 2 reached Triton, the largest moon of Neptune-- the only satellite in our solar system with a retrograde orbit.

Coast to Coast AM Schedule 8.21.15 - 8.28.15:

Here's what's coming up in the next week!

Friday, August 21, 2015: Filling in for George, Richard Syrett welcomes researcher and author, Don Jeffries, who'll chronicle a wide variety of issues that have plagued US history. Whether it's the assassinations of JFK and MLK, Iran-Contra, the Oklahoma City bombing, TWA Flight 800, voting fraud, or 9/11, Jeffries contends that every major disaster or war that we've witnessed has somehow been distorted by those who are supposed to be protecting us. Open Lines follow in the second half.

Saturday, August 22, 2015: Joining Richard Syrett in the first half, author and researcher Joseph P. Farrell will discuss his examination of the post-war Nazi International, an "extra-territorial state" without borders-- a network of terrorists, drug runners, and people in the very heights of financial power willing to commit fraud in amounts totaling trillions of dollars. He'll also cover breakaway civilizations, black budgets, secret technology, occult rituals, and the hijacking of nature. Followed by longtime paranormal researcher Richard Estep, recounting his chilling investigations and weird cases ranging from the Tower of London to a haunted Colorado firehouse.

6-10pm PT: Art Bell - Somewhere in Time returns to 9/3/96 when Middle East expert Andrew Killgore offered first-hand analysis of a US-led series of military strikes on Iraq.

Sunday, August 23, 2015: A mystery of unusual sounds began in Warminster, England, on the morning of Christmas 1964 and continued as a UFO enigma until 1977. The locals called the unusual lights and sounds central to the mystery "the Thing." An expert in the case, Kevin Goodman, joins George Knapp in the first half to discuss the 50-year old mystery. Followed by Beatles authority, Chuck Gunderson, who'll discuss the band's rock 'n' roll revolution in America and their lasting cultural influence, along with stories of their concerts, backstage behind-the-scenes negotiations, and mayhem at the airports and hotels.

Monday, August 24, 2015: First Half: Science writer Steve Silberman will discuss his work challenging the conventional wisdom on autism and those who think differently, by revealing its secret history, long suppressed by the same clinicians who became famous for discovering it. He'll share surprising answers to the crucial question of why the number of autism diagnoses have soared in recent years.

2nd Half: One of America's leading connoisseurs of the bizarre, Marc Hartzman, was heavily influenced at an early age by Ripley's Believe It Or Not and the annual Guinness World Record books. In addition to discussing weird things on eBay, sideshow performers, and unorthodox messages from God, Hartzman will cover his latest work researching the extremely strange history of Oliver Cromwell's embalmed head, which for centuries enjoyed a series of unexpected adventures. Hosted by George Noory.

Tuesday, August 25, 2015: Futurist and researcher Stephan Schwartz will discuss death and consciousness - what science knows about dying, death and survival, and how to help people make the final transition. He'll also update his work on near-death experiences, the power of music, and the power of prayer and reincarnation.

Wednesday, August 26, 2015: First Half: Analyst of geopolitics and foreign policy Craig B. Hulet will discuss the global regime of economic interdependence and how it results in conflicts all over the globe. He'll update the various hot spots including China and the US fighting over natural resources in Africa, as well as the ongoing tension in the Middle East and strange relationship with Russia and America.

2nd Half: Author, researcher and expert in Edgar Cayce and ancient wisdom, Wynn Free addresses his ongoing series of dialogues with a channeled source who claims to have created the physical universe. Hosted by George Noory.

Thursday, August 27, 2015: Earthfiles investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe will discuss the bizarre story of the alleged human-alien hybrid found dead in Los Angeles and said to be involved with the CIA; mysterious and spectacular crop formations found in the wheat fields of Wiltshire, England on the summer solstice this past June, and the breaking story about the sun going to sleep in 2030 and ushering in a brutal mini-ice age across the planet. Hosted by George Noory.

Friday, August 28, 2015: Filling in for George, Dave Schrader (email) welcomes Joshua Abraham, the son of Larry Abraham, who wrote the international bestselling novel "None Dare Call It Conspiracy" with his friend Gary Allen. This book in 1971 revealed the "smoking gun" proof for the plans and the agenda for the global government called the New World Order. Abraham will discuss his latest work researching the connection between alien abduction and satanic ritual abuse. Followed by Open Lines in the second half.
